Industry Organizations To Discuss Norwegian Air International’s Application to Serve The United States
WHAT
The Norwegian Air International (NAI) application to serve the U.S. was tentatively approved on April 15 after more than two years of campaigning by airlines and their labor unions against it. Now NAI opponents have launched a massive campaign in the U.S. House to kill the NAI application legislatively. On this press call we will discuss why the NAI service will benefit consumers and communities for generations; what the concrete benefits to all stakeholders continue to be from Open Skies policy; why NAI opponents are motivated to undermine their regulator and the consumer; and why leading organizations have written to President Obama.
