The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and Business Travel Coalition (BTC) invite you to join a free Webinar on April 26, 2013 to explore the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Resolution 787 and the included New Distribution Capability (NDC).
Paul M. Ruden, Esq., SVP Legal & Industry Affairs, ASTA
Kevin P. Mitchell, Chairman, BTC
IATA has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) for approval of its Resolution 787, which includes a new worldwide business model for the pricing and sale of airline tickets that could structurally change the industry in unalterable ways impacting all supply-chain participants, including the end customer. DOT has set a deadline of May 1, 2013 to receive industry and airline customer comments. Whether in support of or in opposition to Resolution 787, travel industry participants from around the world should take advantage of the opportunity to submit comments and influence the outcome of DOT’s review. During this Webinar BTC and ASTA will share their insights on Resolution 787 based upon their review and analysis of IATA documents and presentations as well as direct meetings and correspondence with IATA.
Online presentation and Q&A - Friday, April 26, 2013 - 12:00pm till 1:15pm (EDT).
